The Bunnythorpe School learning community gives you a warm welcome. We are a school that straddles rural and urban education providing our students a curriculum that offers the very best of both worlds. Students come from far and wide to attend our school, which caters for Year 0 - 8 pupils. We offer a bespoke curriculum that connects students with people and the environment while promoting healthy and sustainable lifestyles within Aotearoa, New Zealand’s bi-cultural context. Our students look after animals, grow vegetables, and explore their environment through play.

We are an EnviroSchool and promote sustainability and connections to Papatūanuku. We also belong to the Duffy Books in School programme and our students receive free books throughout the year. Our lunches are provided for through the Ka Ora Ka Ako - Healthy School Lunches programme. Our environment includes; a BMX track, bush reserve, swimming pool, refurbished classrooms, onsite Little Bunnies Playgroup, plenty of green space to kick a ball around and concrete to ride a school bike or scooter.
